See how your experiment results evolved over time — and revisit exactly what you knew when you made a decision.

🕒 Experiment Results History

We’re excited to introduce Experiment Results History — a new feature that lets you explore how your experiment outcomes changed over time and view results exactly as they appeared on any given day.

Why this matters

When teams make program or product decisions based on experiment results, it’s critical to preserve the context of those decisions. With Results History, Evidential now serves as a true experiment registry — giving you a reliable record of what your data showed at the time the decision was made.

No more guesswork when reporting back to leadership or revisiting old experiments.

What it does

  • Automatic multi-daily snapshots: Evidential now takes regular snapshots of your experiment analysis.
  • Playback over time: View how each metric or variation’s results evolved — complete with confidence intervals or probability distributions.
  • Historical views: Select any date to see exactly what your team saw then, freezing the results in time.

How to use it

You’ll find a new time series view in your experiment results page. You'll also find a drowdown and interactive clicks that will bring you back to the details of a specific snapshots

Why it’s useful

  • Audit trail for evidence-based decisions
  • Transparency in reporting and accountability
  • Confidence in archiving and sharing experiment learnings

✨ With Experiment Results History, your data becomes a living record — helping you learn not just what worked, but how and when you learned it.
